We used computer simulations and cryoEM experiments to show that viral genome can be released from the virus in various ways/paths and how these ways depend on physical properties of genom and viral capsid, a protein shell protecting the genome outside a host. We developed a phenomenological coarse-grained model of non-enveloped RNA viruses, which can also represent a drug delivery virus-like nanoparticles.
